Synopsis:

Napat (Anne Thongprasom) is a beautiful but head-strong young lady. Against her father's wishes to come and live with him in the States, Napat decided to stay back in Thailand and earn her way through modelling.

During Napat's first magazine photo-shoot, she met a fast-mouthed photographer, Chen (Ken Theeradeth), who predicted that she will never be famous in the industry. However, despite Chen's "prediction", Napat turned out to be a huge success, with everyone in the business wanting to work with her.

Napat's lucky streak came to a halt when she bumped into Chen for the second time, while at a beach-side anniversary party for a famous magazine. Due to a drinking competition during the party, both Chen and Napat got badly drunk and ended up in bed together. It wasn't long before Napat realizes that she was pregnant. However, rumour has it that Chen is currently dating Jasmin (Thook), one of Napat's biggest rival in the modeling world. Will Napat decide to confront Chen (whom she absolutely loath!) on the pregnancy or will she keep the secret to herself?

Personal Note:

I love Anne T, ever since I have seen her acting on the tear-jerking movie, "The Letter", which was one of the most touching movie I have ever watched! It is pretty hard to find Thai dramas/movies online, so this is one of the very rare gems which I am excited to share with you all :p

    Oooh.. sorry about the subtitles. Forgot to check before posting. Think I'll need a couple of days to re-time all the subs, so I'll post them up one by one once I'm done with the re-timing ya!

    By the way, I'm glad that you guys enjoy the Thai lakorn as well because I love Thai dramas! Hehe... well, I'm thinking of expanding my selection of Asian movies/dramas... so we'll probably get some other different genre besides the usual Korean/Chinese/Japanese.

    I have never seen a Thai lakorn before. I loved the movie already after only watching the first few minutes. The actor and actress are beautiful together. It's unfortunate that I don't understand Thai so for the episodes online that didn't have subtitles, I was out in the dark.

    Will you be able to get subtitles up for all the episodes (or at episode 12-14)?

    I appreciate all that you do for us Asian film lovers!

    me too, i've never watched a thai movie/drama before. but this seems to have an interesting story. i just feel a little bit different because of the new language. i've been used to watching korean movies/dramas, but i will eventually get used to hearing Thai :)

    Yes, I am still left with episodes 07-14. Goodness, this is one of the hardest drama to re-time since my Thai is so elementary and there are like a dozen "breaks" in between scenes *cries*

    Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. Was working on all 3 subs i.e. Episode 11, 12 and 13 at the same time so that probably accounts for the mix-up. Unfortunately, I've sent my pc for repair last weekend after I've uploaded the subs, so you guys have to probably wait for another few days for Episode 11 subs okay? Sorry!

    Hi,
    Would you be able to make lakorn "Oum Ruk" english hard subtitle, instead of english soft subtitle? This will make it easier for those you are interest in download it; however, I know that this will be more work for you. I understand that your advise us to use the classic window media or the community codec, etc. Thus, this is just a suggestion, which I see will benefit everyone in the mere future.

    All-in-all thanks for uploading english subtitle of "Oum Ruk". I greatly appreciated.

    P.S. I am one of those who are having difficulty with soft subtitle (doesn't seem to work, hopefully I'll figure out soon, so I can convert to a .AVI or .DAT file, but it is getting no where).

    Can you please upload episode 11-14 and the ost on sendspace or Rapidshare please? I live in college so there is a firewall for MU. I can watch it online until ep. 10 from Veoh.com. This is the link http://www.veoh.com/series/thnormsnaeh (it also has cambodian dubbed video) Every episode is Eng hard subbed there so you may put the link for online vdo on yr blog. But I'm Thai, I dont need the sub. Then please please please upload Oum Rak vdo ep. 11-14 on SS or RS for me.
